Enterprize Competition
History
Since 2001, the UQ Business School ENTERPRIZE Competition has provided seed capital to promising start-up companies and given participants the opportunity to have their business plan reviewed by potential investors. Fostering networking with venture capitalists and business angels, it could be the perfect launch-pad for your new venture.
About
The University of Queensland Business School Enterprize competition is designed to help people who have a great business idea turn it into reality.
As a finalist, you will have the opportunity to refine your business plan by having it reviewed by some of Australia’s leading businesspeople, venture capitalists and business angels.
The process is:
- Stage 1 – Concept Plan Judging – Concept plans are submitted for the consideration of the judging panel in July. Finalists are then selected.
- Stage 2 – The Full Business Plan – Finalists submit a 30-40 page full business plan which is viewed by the judges on-line.
- Stage 3 – The Interview – Finalists attend an interview with the judging panel. During the interview they will be questioned on the content of their business plan.
- Stage 4 – Pitch Day – Finalists give an eight minute pitch on their winning idea to convince the judges they should be the winner of the $100,000.
